Refund Policy

TypesetOS provides a free, full-document visual preview before purchase. Use it to inspect margin, font, and layout compliance before deciding whether to purchase the Thesis Pass and unlock the final formatted Word document.

Where Paddle processes a purchase as Merchant of Record, Paddle’s applicable Refund Policy and Buyer Terms apply to that transaction. Refund or withdrawal requests made within 14 days of purchase will be handled in accordance with Paddle’s applicable policy and mandatory consumer-protection law.

Where Paddle’s policy or applicable law gives you greater refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other consumer rights than this policy, those greater rights apply.

TypesetOS provides digital content and services that may be delivered immediately after purchase. Starting delivery or downloading the final unwatermarked formatted .docx file may affect statutory withdrawal rights where applicable, but it does not remove any right that Paddle’s applicable terms or mandatory consumer-protection law requires us to honor.

Refunds are available for verified payment or delivery problems, including a duplicate charge, or a backend failure that prevents the purchased final unwatermarked .docx file from being generated or delivered and that TypesetOS cannot resolve within 48 hours after you contact support. Mandatory consumer rights and Paddle’s applicable refund rules continue to apply.

If you purchase a Thesis Pass and never download the final file, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. We may ask for the purchase details needed to assess the request.

Subject to Paddle’s applicable policy and mandatory consumer rights, once the final file has been downloaded, dissatisfaction with a formatting choice visible in the free preview, a later change in institutional requirements, an issue originating in the uploaded source document, or unused revision allowance is not by itself a refundable technical error.

Email [email protected] with the purchase date, the email used for checkout, and a short description of the issue. If Paddle processes the transaction, its payment records and Merchant of Record procedures also apply. This policy does not limit rights that cannot be excluded by law.
