The workflow behind the button
Each capability belongs to a larger safety sequence. TypesetOS tries to repair the formatting problem without turning that repair into a new document problem.
TypesetOS starts from the Word file you already have, including the mixed styles that naturally accumulate across a long academic draft.
Some Word content is structural rather than ordinary prose. When changing it would create unnecessary risk, the formatter keeps it out of normal rewrite paths.
The chosen preset supplies the formatting settings used for the run. The public selector and the formatter read from the same supported catalog.
Academic documents contain headings, front matter, pagination, and protected structures that need different treatment from ordinary paragraphs.
After formatting, the result is rendered into a visual preview so the student can inspect the pages before the final Word document is released.
The product keeps the selected standard and the run outcome visible without presenting the preview as a guarantee of institutional approval.
It may contain fields, sections, equations, tables, captions, references, links and intentional exceptions. Formatting has to respect those structures.
Preset-owned typography, geometry and supported structural formatting can be repaired where the engine can prove the write is safe.
When a repair could damage authored or protected content, the safer result is to preserve it rather than force a cosmetic change.
